The Campaign - Street Play (SKIT)


Specially scripted and created by the students of Mahe Manipal University and enacted by a group of amateur actors, the street play consists of scenarios based on real life incidences and chooses to highlight the hazards of tobacco consumption.

Three stories look carefully at people who have been afflicted by tobacco abuse. Do they have a second chance?

Story one revolves around a father dying. He has unfulfilled tasks, his children are young. He however is grateful for being miraculously granted his second chance.

Story two tells a tale of a young man who gets asthma because of passive smoking at clubs and when amongst friends who smoke.

Story three follows an obese college student who loses weight eventually by smoking, but not the way she wanted
